We welcome submissions that explain <em>how systems work<\/em>, <em>why processes behave as they do<\/em>, and <em>what drives cause\u2013effect relationships<\/em> across disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an era of data abundance, the journal emphasizes interpretation, causality, and mechanistic clarity.
