Rohith Srinidhi, MSc

Rohith Srinidhi. V is an M.Sc. Biotechnology student at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, Genetics and Biotechnology from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University. His research interests span cell biology, cell signalling, genetics, computational biology and developmental biology. During his internship at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, he investigated Rer-1-mediated regulation of the unfolded protein response (UPR) in Drosophila, exploring its role in cellular proteostasis and survival. At Insilicomics Research Pvt. Ltd., Ooty, he gained experience in structural biology and bioinformatics, working with computational workflows including molecular modelling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations and free-energy perturbation studies. His interdisciplinary training reflects a strong interest in understanding biological mechanisms through experimental and computational approaches.
