A family meal is usually a symbol of comfort, togetherness, and celebration. Yet, for some people, the same plate can become an unexpected biological battleground.

However, food intolerance does not mean that every person must completely abandon the suspected food. As the old saying goes, “Knowledge is power”, and understanding your own triggers can make everyday eating much easier.
Food may arrive on the plate looking innocent, colourful, and delicious, but inside the body, its journey can tell a very different story. For someone with an allergy or intolerance, however, one wrong ingredient can change the entire tune.
The lesson is not to fear food, but to understand it. Allergies demand careful avoidance and emergency preparedness, while intolerances often require identifying triggers and managing digestion.
